CONGRATULATIONS ON AÂ NEW LITTLE ONE JOINING YOUR FAMILY
The birth of a child is one of life's greatest moments and deepest transitions. Your family deserves the highest and most intimate degree of support. We all know it takes a village to raise a child, and your doula should be one of the humble members of this community. I would be honored to be a part of your support team.

MEET BRI
Brianna Warta began her journey as birth doula in college, where she feel in love with birth through the telling of life-changing positive birth stories. She started her practice and became a certified DONA doula in Seattle, WA, and then moved to Scotland where she continued to serve families for several years. Upon settling in West Virginia as a mother with 3 young children of her own, Bri's passion for birth continues to serve as
motivation to honor the uniquely female experience of giving birth.

As a doula, Bri brings a calm, grounded energy to the birthing space. She is trauma-informed and aims to hold space in a nurturing way. Bri believes birth is sacred and monumental time that will deeply impact the entirety of a woman's life, and is committed to fighting for babies to take their first breaths surrounded by love and dignity.

MY MISSON
01.
Support
Thoughout your pregnancy, we will collaborate in creating a plan that prioritizes your physical, emotional, and spiritual health during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I will listen to you, engage your questions, and champion your goals for childbirth and parenting.
02.
Education
Learning your options can help you make informed decisions that align with your personal needs. Through childbirth education, we create a personalized birth and postpartum plan that reflects your family's unique needs and values.
03.
Advocacy
As a medical advocate, I help clients feel empowered to assert themselves by reassuring their innate authority.
I teach pregnant women and their partners to demand transparent communications and respect for your birth preferences. As your doula, I act as a final line of defense against abuse, neglect, and coercion while you are giving birth.

WHY HIRE A DOULA?
The birth of a child is an intense, life altering event. Having a professional trained in therapeutic support of women and their partners has the potential to deeply impact the outcome of the birth, as well as how the mother and family feels about the birth. How a women feels about her birth will not only impact her postpartum, but will stay with her for the rest of her life.

Statistically, women who have doulas are more likely to have spontaneous vaginal births and less likely to have any pain medication, epidurals, vacuum or forceps-assisted births, negative feelings about childbirth, and cesareans. Additionally, labors are on average 41 minutes shorter, and babies are less likely to have low APGAR scores. Doulas can also reduce the intensity of postpartum depression.
